3. Do not be afraid to purchase co-registration leads. This is a fantastic way to jumpstart a list and to continue to add to it on a consistent basis. For people who do not have the time, or possibly even the money to build their own list, co-registration leads can be an excellent way to do it.
However, these people may not know who you are initially, so you will have to work extra hard in the relationship building part of your email campaign. The primary point to remember is even though you are not personally generating these leads, they are opt in leads and good potential prospects for your products.
4. Use a quality autoresponder and learn how to maximize your presence on it. Today there are many things it you can do with an auto responder including sending HTML messages.
An easy way to brand yourself, and build relationships through your autoresponder, is to include pictures of yourself, pictures of your products, and the header or logo from your website. Your email list will become familiar with you and your open rate will increase over time as well.
These are four fairly simple things you can do to get more from your email marketing campaigns. Remember to be consistent and view email marketing as a long term commitment to your business.
